Located next to the Warsaw Central Railway Station and Palace of Culture and Science, the Złote Tarasy opened to the public in 2007. With more than 21 million visitors a year, Złote Tarasy features over 200 stores and 40 restaurants located on five levels. The mixed used development also includes a multiplex cinema, high-rise office building, over 1580 parking spaces and a pedestrian network that links the train station with the historic city center.

NT ColourRail™ is available in standard and custom colours and features an easy-to-maintain high-gloss finish that enhances the overall appearance of escalators and moving walks and encourages customers to hold the handrail. In addition to improved aesthetics and risk mitigation, installing NT ColourRail™ can provide building owners and property managers with other value-added benefits including enhanced wayfinding, brand activation and rider experience.

Network Rail’s iconic London Bridge is the oldest rail terminus in London and the fourth busiest station in the UK, bringing over 55 million passengers into the city each year. These handrails feature permanent safety graphics on the surface that remind passengers to hold the handrail to reduce the risk of personal injury. These safety graphics also function as motion indicators and can be used to encourage physical distancing.

Aupark opened to the public in 2001 and underwent an expansion in 2015. With nearly 12 million visitors a year, Aupark features over 200 stores and a wide selection of restaurants, entertainment options and other amenities. The centre consists of four above-ground floors and one underground level.

Aupark’s interior architecture and design elements feature brown earth tones throughout as well as many natural materials including wood railings and facades, water features, and rainforest-inspired plant strings that are suspended from the glass ceiling and reach down to the lower level. Brown NT ColourRail™ high-gloss handrails enhance the overall appearance of the escalators, complement the wood grain cladding, and helps to deliver a safe and hands-on tactile experience to Aupark visitors as they move from one level to another.

Washington State Convention Center Summit Building to Feature EHC Global’s Patented NT9000 Escalator Handrail

August 13, 2019 (Oshawa, Canada) – EHC Global (EHC), a leading manufacturer of handrails, rollers, composite steel belts, and components to the vertical transportation industry, is pleased to announce Washington State Convention Center (WSCC) in Seattle, Washington, will feature EHC’s patented NT9000 escalator handrail in their new Summit building. WSCC, one of the largest convention centers in the Pacific Northwest region of the USA, is currently undergoing a major expansion project. The Summit building will be located one block from the existing facility and will more than double the current capacity of the WSCC when it opens in 2022. EHC has supplied TufFlex™ handrail, ADRail™, Field-Splicing, and D-Flector™ safety brushes to the WSCC in the past.

The Summit building will be a transformative project for the region, connecting neighborhoods, bolstering the economy, and creating an iconic addition to the architectural and cultural landscape. The installation of the ADRail™ campaign was managed and executed by Time2Ad Inc., EHC’s exclusive Canadian ADRail™ licensee.

The New Balance Training footwear and apparel campaign was launched on January 25 and features EHC’s patented ADRail™ handrail film technology. ADRail™ is installed directly over the escalator handrail by an EHC-trained and certified technician. The installation and removal process is quick (approximately 60 minutes to install and less than 30 minutes to remove) and does not compromise the performance or service life of the escalator handrail. To date, EHC and its global network of licensees have completed over two thousand ADRail™ installations worldwide.

The 60,000-square-foot store is now the largest Sports Experts store in Quebec. EHC Global Launches NT MotionRail™ Handrail Solutions to Public Transit Market

Chicago Transit Authority is First Public Transit System in North America to Implement NT MotionRail™

February 13, 2017 (Oshawa, Canada) ─ EHC Global (EHC), a leading manufacturer of escalator and elevator components, announced the global launch of NT MotionRail™ handrail solutions to the public transit market with Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) serving as EHC’s North American launch customer. Escalators at CTA’s North/Clybourn Station in Chicago have been retrofitted with EHC’s patented NT handrail and feature permanent and vandalism-resistant motion indicators that provide a visual indication of the speed and direction of travel, enabling riders to take a more natural step onto the escalator.

Established in 1947, CTA operates the second largest public transportation system in the United States, serving the City of Chicago and 35 surrounding suburbs. Approximately 1.64 million rides are taken on the CTA on an average weekday. Presently, CTA service is provided by two modes: bus and rail rapid transit. The rail system, commonly referred to as the “L”, consists of eight rapid transit routes and 145 stations over more than 224 miles of track. Parts of the “L” run above ground, in subway tunnels, as well as at grade or in expressway medians. CTA joins London Underground and Dubai Metro as the latest major public transit system to implement NT MotionRail™.
