Take a deep breath, exhale and no tears……. Jeno, over the 25 plus years what can I say… ..first, you made it possible for me to sit at the front of this e “World Class Company” and do what I do best why, I even ended up with the best seat in the house. I had the most unique job like nobody else at EHC whether, it was greeting the thousands of people that have walked through the front door or discussing with you, exactly what was needed.. Over the years, I’ve come to the conclusion that EHC’s success was mostly all because of you…..under this roof It was your kindness, your , support, your generosity and your great sense of humor that propelled EHC to greatness. I want to tell you that your leadership, professionalism and most of all your determination was the driving force to make EHC a world leader recognized throughout the world. l I’d always considered myself so lucky to be the person that assisted you all these years.. Diane , your wonderful support, very kind words and great personality will always be remembered. I want to take this time to thank not only the both of you but, the entire Eppel Family as both of you embark on the next chapter of your life. I just know, I will truly miss both of you and best wishes.

You have been a friend for over 40yrs and a work colleague for most of that. We have seen, heard, shared and experienced a lot together. Whether it was sports, or business we didn’t always see eye to eye but we never stopped being friends or respecting one another. I consider myself privileged to have known you when…. And as somebody who knew you when, I can say that I have marveled and hugely respected your ability to grow and achieve great success in making EHC’s most important job your own. You did so with poise, patience and humility, with confidence and a demand for respect when required, and with personality, humor and a calming casualness when it didn’t. Leaders come in many different forms, but your ability to lead, inspire, motivate and guide those around you to grow and achieve their best is the greatest leadership quality of all. You should be very proud of what you and those under your leadership accomplished. Very Well Done, you have not only earned the respect of many here at EHC, but of an entire industry.

Jeno - I have enjoyed working at EHC for the past 16 plus years - it is the best company I have worked for. EHC is a great company which focuses not only on the financial success for the company, but also in making sure their employees are valued and looked after. This element of 'humanity' incorporated into the business is something that I believe sets EHC apart from other companies. I also believe that this unique culture of EHC is down to the example you and Ron have set for the rest of us at EHC. I wish you and your family all the best in your future. God Bless you all !

Jeno, Thank you cannot fully express the gratitude I have toward the generosity you have provided me that last 20 years. I have spent my entire career here at EHC and under your leadership have grown not only as a professional but as a person. Your career has been a classic tale of how hard work and determination can take you anywhere you want to go in life. EHC has not only had a profound impact on my life but my entire family and it has been a pleasure working not only for a company I believe in but a leader as well. Jeno, I must say, thanks again for taking a chance on me and hiring me way back in 1986. Incredible how the years fly by. Thanks for keeping us all a job to go do for so long without interruption. Its incredible the work you and Ron did to make this company what it has become today. A true world leader in the lift industry. Thank you Jeno for taking me on board of the EHC Train ride almost 26 years ago! A ride that never had a dull moment and gave me many opportunities over the years. First with you being my direct manager and after with Norman. While my next stop will create – again - a new opportunity, yours will be retirement from EHC. You are a very nice and kindness man. EHC expanded the marketing share with famous brand and advanced Technology under your lead. I remembered that I visited your house to joint management party in 2015. this party gave me good impression of family culture in EHC. now you will be re-tire soon. Thank you for the leadership and relentless determination in bringing out the best in all EHC employees not just in Oshawa but all locations globally. Your direction & encouragement to strive to be better not only as employees but as individuals away from work is why so many of us look up to you with the greatest level of respect and admiration. I always appreciated the opportunity to banter about professional sports with you but I most enjoyed discussing our sons & daughters’ successes on the ice, your support around the rink was very much valued.

Even though I did not see you often, I remember your smile, and powerful hands shaking. I know you are with Shanghai team, no matter if you travelled to China, you think of us.
