Ron Ball has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious Governor General’s Medallion in recognition of his successful career and achievements as well as his many contributions to international trade and the economies of both Canada and China.
Ron was nominated for this award by Mr. Winston Kan, Managing Director of Invest Alberta’s Beijing Office. The Honourable John McCallum, Ambassador of Canada to China, presented Ron with the award on behalf of the Governor General of Canada at a luncheon at the Official Residence of the Embassy of Canada in Beijing in October.

Mr. Epple, over the past 2 decades I've watched you steer the Good Ship EHC through many rough waters, and we always seem to come out unscathed, and sometimes, even better than we started! You and Diane have been pillars in the company. I thank you for always having our best interest (the floor staff) at heart, and always reminding us to not only work hard, but party hard as well! Your leadership has been an inspiration to me, and countless others. May God bless you and the family, wherever you go in the future.
