Ron Ball has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious Governor General’s Medallion in recognition of his successful career and achievements as well as his many contributions to international trade and the economies of both Canada and China.
Ron was nominated for this award by Mr. Winston Kan, Managing Director of Invest Alberta’s Beijing Office. The Honourable John McCallum, Ambassador of Canada to China, presented Ron with the award on behalf of the Governor General of Canada at a luncheon at the Official Residence of the Embassy of Canada in Beijing in October.

Hi Jeno. Is it close to 26 years already ? I wish you and the family well as you move on to the next chapter in your life. I have to thank you for all the opportunities you have given me within EHC. I cannot think of any where else that I would have those chances. You will be leaving EHC in a good position for the future and you can be very proud of what you have accomplished. Although these 3 years have been brief, and I wished you had not retired so soon, I wanted to thank you for your closeness and trust in myself and the entire team at EHC Spain.
It has been 3 years of intense and good work, in which we have put our passion & commitment to make the world a better place, and where I learnt a lot.
Hope to see you with Diane in Seville soon... some wines and delicious "jamón" still pending... thanks a lot Jeno!

What a journey !! 25 years with EHC and basically all the time you were my boss and a very good friend. Both, on the professional and personal level, cannot thank you more for the advice and leadership you provided. Feels somehow unreal that it is ending at some point in the next weeks. Retirement ?!? I can't see it. A new chapter; for sure! We (the entire Rosnersky Family) wish you, Diane, Jake and Jil all the best for this new chapter. And for sure we are looking very much forward to seeing each other again, as belly laughs are just not the same through MS Teams. Stay safe and enjoy the next chapter.

Dear Jeno,
We've known each other for 36 years, almost as long as I've known my wife! Back when we were in our early twenties, who would have thought a couple of long haired Oshawa dudes would have come so far with little EHC. When I started, you were the production manager in Ajax, and I've been working for you for pretty much the whole time ever since. It's been a pleasure! We've had many good times, lots of challenges and lots of good parties! You've demonstrated how well hard work and determination can grow a person and the company they keep into a great success. As you like to say "take a bow"
I remember when you used to say that you'd like to retire early and run your own chip truck (but on a boat!). There's still time.... Seriously, Corinne and I wish you and Diane all the best in the future. We're sure it will be another amazing and successful adventure for you!

Where to start....
Jeno, it has been an absolute privilege to both work for you and know your family for these past 16+ years. I always admired your 'start from the floor' to President / CEO journey and view that as the ultimate success story for a career path. More importantly, not forgetting the 'little guy' during your career advancements and continuously pushing us to do better as you worked (and played !) hard to keep us on the right track. It will certainly not be the same around here once the changes take place.
