Patrick Robert Bothwell is the Vice President, Global Sales & Customer Experience, of Draka EHC, a brand of Prysmian Group. Draka EHC was established by the merger of Draka Elevator Products and EHC Global in January 2021, two leading brands in the vertical transportation industry. Based in Oshawa, Canada. Patrick is responsible for the management of global key accounts, identifying and capitalizing on growth and business development opportunities, and ensuring the best possible experience for all customers. Prior to acquisition of EHC Global by Prysmian Group, Patrick served as Vice President of Sales. Patrick is a consummate sales professional and a passionate industry safety advocate. He is involved with numerous lift industry associations including membership in the ASME A17 Standards Committee, and Chair of the Escalator and Moving Walk Committee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and has completed advanced studies at University of Toronto’s Joseph L. Rotman School of Management.

Uwe Fritz is EHC Global’s Managing Director, Latin America and the Caribbean and is based in Cambé, Paraná. Uwe joined EHC in December 2011. Uwe has 23 years of international sales, manufacturing, product management and engineering experience within the lift industry. Prior to joining EHC, he held several positions with Otis Elevator Company including Operations Supplier Development Manager (Czech Republic) and Project Manager, Worldwide Escalator Engineering (Austria). During his 14 year career with Schindler Group, Uwe served as Production Manager with Elevadores Atlas Schindler SA (Brazil) and Project Manager, Know-How Transfer (Austria). Uwe holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Fundação Dom Cabral and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology. He speaks English, German, Portuguese and Spanish.

Gregg Dixon is EHC Global’s Director of Engineering and is based in Oshawa, Canada. His responsibilities include managing an engineering group supporting various regional and corporate departments to design, source, award, manufacture, commission production equipment and facilities plus maintain them. Gregg joined the EHC team in March 1995. Prior to joining EHC, Gregg served as Engineering Designer and Special Projects Manager with Ganawa Inc. and Nemato Composites Inc. He also held the position of Plant Manager and Engineering Designer with Engineered Composites Inc. Gregg is a CET with OACETT since 1990. He holds a Mechanical Engineering Technologist – Design major from Centennial College.

Sergio Garcia is EHC Global’s Vice-Managing Director, Asia Pacific and is based in Shanghai, China. His primary duties include finance, treasury, accounting, legal, IT, intellectual property, government and administration. He is also responsible for the entire operation when the Managing Director is not present. Sergio joined the EHC team in April 2009. Prior to joining EHC, Sergio served as Director of Finance and Compliance, Asia Pacific, with Aavid Thermalloy Systems. In this role, Sergio directed multiple departments and functional teams in six facilities located across four countries. He has also held senior-level sales and finance positions with multinational companies throughout Asia and Latin America including AlliedSignal and Garrett Automotive Group. Sergio earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of International Management degrees from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Spanish from San Diego State University. Sergio speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Mandarin.

Greg Hanoski is EHC Global’s Corporate Senior Manager, Operations and Shanghai Operations Manager. He is based in Shanghai, China. Greg is responsible for managing the company’s manufacturing operations in China, which includes the production, quality, supply chain and maintenance departments whole overseeing the globes manufacturing operations. Greg joined EHC in 1990. Prior to relocating to Shanghai in 2012, Greg was based in the company’s Oshawa headquarters and held various positions including Corporate Senior Manager (Operations), Production Manager, ERP Implementation-Manufacturing Lead, Materials Manager, Production Scheduler and Buyer. Greg holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Durham College and has completed business studies at York University.

Andrew Kenny is EHC Global’s Director of Research and Development and is based in Oshawa, Canada. He is responsible for management of global R&D functions including product development and support. Andrew joined the EHC team in May 1994. Prior to joining EHC, Andrew worked for Xerox at The Canadian Research Center and Decoma Trim (Magna International). His previous functions were focused on the development of novel polymer processes and materials. Andrew is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Ryerson University.

Andy LaFontaine is EHC Global’s Corporate Senior Manager, IT and is based in Oshawa, Canada. He is responsible for leading the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s global information management and technology strategies. Andy joined the EHC team in 1985. Throughout his 30 year career with EHC, Andy has managed many complex organizational initiatives involving multiple business applications, budgets, functional groups, technologies and locations. These include IT security, ERP, CRM, production and factory automation, local and wide area networks, data storage and back-ups, disaster recovery procedures and the identification and resolution of risk and control issues. Andy maintains a strong knowledge base of industry trends and emerging technologies and has continues to build strong alliances with key technology suppliers and business partners.

Jack Li is EHC Global’s Senior Research and Development Manager and is based in Shanghai, China. His primary responsibilities include product development, material science and polymer engineering, material and equipment sourcing, vendor selection and production process improvement. Jack joined the EHC team in July 2010. He brings over twenty years of valuable experience to EHC. Prior to joining the company, he held various production, quality, plant and D&R management positions with multinational companies such as Sika Sarnafil Waterproofing (Shanghai), W.R. Grace (China) and Shanghai Tire & Rubber Co. Jack holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Cross University (Australia) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Polymer Chemistry from South China Science & Technology University. He speaks Mandarin and English.

Melissa Mitchell is EHC Global’s Director of Human Resources and has been part of the EHC team since March 2001. Based in Oshawa, Canada, she leads the Corporate Human Resources Department and provides support to all EHC entities around the world in addition to being responsible for the day-to-day HR activities in the North American operations including recruitment, selection, employee relations, training and development, employment contracts, policies and procedures. Prior to EHC, Melissa managed the Scarborough location of CBI Health Group for four years. Melissa holds a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Trent University in addition to a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Sir Sandford Fleming College.  She is an active member of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) and obtained her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation in 2004.
